Sara Priola

In May 2019, Sara founded Priola Law to deliver high-end practical legal advice to growing companies.  Her deep prior experience in financial services as well as in-house as Founder/General Counsel of 3 profitable startups has led to her passion for working with early and growth stage companies in highly regulated areas of the law.  When she’s not working with her clients, Sara loves to hike with her family and dogs, swim, and travel. Mark Turner

Mark’s journey from the film and television industry to becoming a fintech attorney is a testament to his determination and adaptability. After receiving a B.A. in Advertising from Pepperdine University, Mark embarked on a successful career in feature film and television development and production for both independent production companies and studios/networks. While he enjoyed the creative side of development and production, he began to realize that his interest was in the ever evolving legal and regulatory meeting place occupied by the impact of technological advancements and the creativity of production financing and distribution.

Mark returned to academia, earning a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law with a focus on corporate and technology law. Mark worked for a number of law firms as an associate or contract attorney across a variety of substantive areas as a California and New York licensed attorney.

Mark joined Priola Law in June 2021. When Sara closed the firm to found Juniper Trust Company, he joined her as Director of Legal Operations and is now back at Priola Law.

When he’s not working, Mark enjoys spending time with his husband, traveling, checking out cultural events, and taking their dog out and about to explore the local parks.

Nicole Leonard

Nicole previously worked as a partner at a national law firm and served as general counsel of several early stage companies. With a broad spectrum of legal expertise ranging from fintech to renewable energy, she strives to provide clients with strategic, practical legal and business advice. Nicole first joined Priola Law in 2021 and returned in 2024. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys travel, cooking, live music, and spending time with her family and dog near Austin, Texas. LinkedIn Profile.
